The Stories is a twelve-episode video piece. The mutual theme of the episodes is the environmental influences (family, school, friends, internet, etc.) on our sexual orientation as we grow up. As an idea for his research, Hamed Rashtian decided to reach out to people and talk to them about how they think their sexual orientation has been influenced by their environment as they grew up. His aim was to talk to people of different genders and sexual orientations hoping to find various, perhaps even contrasting, perspectives about this subject.
